Greta A. Matzen Joins Taber Estes Thorne & Carr

The Dallas-based law firm of Taber Estes Thorne & Carr PLLC is pleased to announce the addition of Greta A. Matzen as Partner in commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Greta was Senior Litigation Counsel for a large commercial insurer’s in-house firm.
Greta’s practice has been devoted to complex insurance coverage issues. Having practiced in private firms and as a Senior Litigation Counsel for a large commercial insurer’s in-house firm, she has extensive experience prosecuting coverage matters on behalf of insurance companies and policyholders. Greta has advised and defended clients in a variety of complex coverage disputes, which include allegations of bad faith, fraud, misrepresentation, deceptive trade practices, agency issues, and insurance code violations.
A large part of Greta’s practice has also been devoted to rendering coverage opinions regarding commercial general liability, commercial auto, personal auto, professional liability, workers compensation, employers liability, environmental, first party property, homeowners, and excess liability coverage. Greta has also advised clients about general risk transfer and agency issues.
Greta graduated from Baylor University School of Law, and received her undergraduate degree from University of Kansas, magna cum laude.
